I totally, completely relate! I think this is why I don't watch TV or shows much. I don't really go out to see movies either. It's all too much. Our nervous systems were not built for that kind of intensity. And it suggests to me that we all have developed a numbness and a tolerance for that sort of intensity, such that it really has to be amped up now, to leave an impact.
